I have attended some college and some vocational school. In vocational school I studied electronics and computers. I was not really thinking about being an artist at that time. I took assorted art classes in high school and prior and one in college. I started painting when I was about 13 years old. I did it for fun. I started seriously painting 9 years ago. I began by watching Bob Ross paint on television. I then bought some of his books from which I got the basic techniques. I had done pastel, charcoal, and graphite drawings in college. Back in the mid 1980s I had a software business. I completed one game for the Commodore 64 and had several others in the works. What I liked most about my computer was producing the graphics for the games.

I tried to produce a variety of types of paintings and drawings. Most of my work is completely original. When I made these I was almost always looking at a picture from which I tried to create something new.
