Celebrated artist-entrepreneur Hector Vega was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. A self taught artist, his signature style is influenced by his cultural heritage. Hectors work had progressively matured into visually stimulating pieces that embody life and energy through the balance of strong design, color and depth. His art is currently represented by distinguished galleries and independent representatives, and found in numerous private and corporate collections.

In 2004, Hector launched ARTEFINO Art Gallery Café… featuring art, java, juice and food in a unique and welcoming environment. ARTEFINO is located at 1900 Superior Avenue, Cleveland, in the Tower Press Building (across from The Plain Dealer). Look for Hectors sought after, signature style, 3-D reproductions and upcoming merchandise items such as ties, art cubes, greeting cards and more.

Outside of his artistic endeavors, Hector believes in volunteerism, community involvement and the advancement of the arts. He is known for his artistic contributions to auctions which benefit the numerous local and national non-profit organizations.
